Anya Ratnayaka
Co-Founder / Programme Manager
Anya is a graduate in Wildlife and Conservation Management from the University of Queensland, Australia. As a Global Wildlife Conservation Associate Conservation Scientist, she has a strong interest in Sri Lankan wildlife and in particular, small wild cat conservation. She is a local partner of the Small Wild Cat Conservation Foundation, and a member of the Fishing Cat Working Group. Anya and her team started the Urban Fishing Cat Conservation Project in 2014, which studies the ecology and conservation of Fishing Cats in urban habitats in Colombo Sri Lanka.

Ashan Thudugala
Co-Founder / Programme Manager
Ashan started the Save fishing Cat Conservation Project (SFCCP) in 2013 while studying for his bachelor’s degree at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. At present he is reading for his Masters Degree on the “Population Monitoring Of Fishing Cats In Protected Landscapes“. He also works as a local partner for the Small Wild Cat Conservation Foundation (SWCCF), and is a Global Wildlife Conservation Associate Conservation Scientist, and a member of the Fishing Cat Working Group.
