We are looking for local interns who are looking at starting a career in the fields of wildlife and habitat conservation, ecology, and human-wildlife conflict. As a SCAR intern you will be mentored by our Primary Investigators and exposed to cutting-edge field research techniques. Interns will also undergo training in science communication, presentation and writing.
Applicants must have a good academic record, be over the age of 18, and have a strong passion for learning new skills. The minimum length of an internship is 3 months, and selected applicants must be ready to put in at least a minimum of 20 hours a week.
The intern intake is tough, and has a limited number of positions available per active project. So please take care when answering the compulsory questions.
